I often find myself wanting to bike with a bag, but not wanting it on my person. Bungee cords and racks don’t always cut it, so I set out to make a bag that can attach to both your body and your bike.
My solution features 2.5L of storage space, an adjustable sling strap and 2 lash tabs in a rain-proof enclosure.
Sketching was key in determining the features, proportions and placement of the bag.
I opted to design an inner frame bag because of its universality across different bikes, meaning no need for rivnuts, racks or specific handlebars.
Prototyping was key in my design process. Working through paper models and testing the production methods led me to the final solution.
